Daily schedule

Our daily schedule offers time for children to participate in both group activities and independent child choice activities. 

Morning Assembly:

6:45 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Morning Assembly is a special time when pupils and staff come together to begin the school day. It provides an opportunity to greet one another, promote discipline, and set a positive tone for learning.

Activities during morning assembly typically include opening prayers, the singing of the national anthem and school anthem, recitation of the school pledge, roll call, and brief announcements. 

Morning assembly helps instill values such as respect, unity, responsibility, and readiness for learning.

Silent hour:

7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.

During Silent Hour, pupils engage in quiet, age-appropriate activities designed to support learning, with guidance from the teacher.

Lessons begin:

8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

All children study together in the class room.

Snack break:

10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

During the Snack Break, pupils enjoy their time as the teachers prepare to resume lessons.

Lessons resume:

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

After enjoying their snack, pupils settle back into class and continue their learning activities.

Lunch break:

1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Pupils go on another 30-minute break where they can have their lunch.

Physical activity:

Fridays 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Children participate in active play outdoors and in our indoor clubs and societies activities.

Goodbye:

2:15 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Children gather personal items, receive handouts, assignments and wait at the front door for dismissal.
